FFL Transfers
An FFL transfer is required any time a firearm changes hands from an online retailer or an out-of-state private party to you. As a licensed FFL, Celtic Ridge Firearms receives the firearm, verifies it, and completes your transfer.
What you’ll need
NFA Transfers
Suppressors, short-barreled rifles and shotguns, and other NFA items require ATF approval before they can transfer to you — an ATF Form 4, filed by Celtic Ridge Firearms as the transferring dealer.
We work with transfers to individuals and to gun trusts, and can point you toward trust formation resources if you don’t have one yet.
Processing times: ATF approval can take anywhere from several months to over a year. Celtic Ridge Firearms does not control ATF processing timelines and cannot expedite them.

Can I transfer an item to my gun trust?
Yes. Bring a copy of your trust documentation and we’ll file the Form 4 to your trust.
Do you accept out-of-state shipments?
Yes. Have your distributor or seller ship directly to our FFL and we’ll contact you to schedule pickup.
What disqualifies a transfer?
Any failed NICS background check, invalid ID, or item that doesn’t comply with federal, state, or local law.
